Once computer analyst, once computer teacher, now doing what I love. Playing & working on instruments and selling unique ornate carved, inlayed & standard stringed instrument parts. Our customers are from all parts of the world, with varied talents, and are definately the nicest people to work with. As a child I played in a school orchestra & took private lessons for about 3 years, then stopped playing in high school. I started playing fiddle again in 2000 when I became aquainted with a 2nd generation luthier in his 80's who introduced me to instrument repair and I fell in love with bow repair. My artistic nature is now challenged on a regular basis. I find that my playing experience is a very common one. About 60-70% of all our customers are adults between 40-70 who what to start playing fiddle and many have played as children. It's never too late to begin playing an instrument. It keeps the mind keen and adds lots of pleasure to your day. So pick up yer fiddle, rosin up the bow, and fiddle away.
