I now have a Dave Bing fiddle. #42 made circa 2015. viola from the 1880s and a 2006 Chinese fiddle (but it's really nice!) and a beat up fiddle I had in grade school--this I keep tuned GDGD

Trained from 2nd grade on in orchestral methods, but played viola from 5th-12th grade (therefore no exciting repetoire.) Twenty years later, found my viola at my parents' house in pretty good shape and started taking lessons with a master Western Swing fiddler learning to play tunes by ear. Now play a violin and would love to find an old-time fiddle group to play with.
