I am a multi-instrumentalist and folk music fanatic from Cincinnati, Ohio. I started out playing blues guitar before discovering old time banjo in my early 20s while I was living in Athens, Ohio. I quickly fell into the old time festival scene and started incorporating old time tunes, ballads, hymns, and shanties into my blues repertoire. When I moved back to Cincinnati, I started taking fiddle lessons in the Irish tradition. I am still an amateur on the fiddle, but I am quickly learning a number of Irish and Old Time tunes, and the fiddle is rapidly becoming my primary instrument.
