I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and played guitar in rock and roll bands. For some reason, when I moved to Madison in the late 1990's, I switched to fiddle. I got hooked right away. These days I mostly play with the Cajun Strangers, but I also have an oldtime band called the Barley Brothers and sometimes play bluegrass with the Lonesome Rogues.
