Began playing at age 4 until around 10 yrs old until mom couldn't afford lesson's or rental any longer. Began guitar at age 10 or 11, played for about 20 years in various band's, mostly country music. Never really took anything serious enough to make a career of it, (big mistake). Began back playing violin about 8 mo's ago again when it's nearly too late in life except to play for self pleasure. I'm 69 now.
