I've been playing the instrument since I was 7, but playing it as a fiddle (the right way!) since 1995. I take classes at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music, mostly from Paul Tyler, but occasionally from Steve Rosen or Jordan Wankoff. I play a few gigs with a wonderful banjo player named Deborah Fausch, and we're playing mostly midwestern and Kentucky fiddle tunes with a good stream of French-Canadian tunes entering our repertoire slowly. If only I could find a way to make money learning more, I'd be playing all the time!!!
