So it's been a while, but I'm still here.
Anastasia (my 5 string) has lost a string, I guess the mute was biting a bit hard. Claudette (my 4 string) is losing traction on her bow. At some point I am going to have to bite the bullet and get most of my instruments overhauled. I have 5 guitars that although not broken, do need a lot of TLC. Frets, bridge, etc. Dixie (my banjo) is holding out great, although could do with a string change (which usually involves a semi dismantle and overhaul).
I am stuck for time and space at the moment, so my playing has stagnated a bit. I do play fiddle about once a week and hope to increase that again.
When I do play I can see how far I have come on. There is still a way to go before I am a good fiddler, but for now I am content to be just a fiddler.
