Started playing when I was 11. I was playing in my first youth bluegrass band at 13. I won the Kentucky State Fiddle Championship at 19. I moved to Nashville at 20. I started playing with Clay Walker at 21. I started playing with Wade Hayes at 22. Started with Tracy Lawrence at 30. When I was 31 I came off the road and started teaching locally in Owensboro KY. I have been Education Director at the International Bluegrass Music Museum for the last 6 years. I currently have 40 private students and around 100 group students.
