I teach more and gig less, but that suits me fine... I play a lot of old time fiddle/banjo songs with my husband and am currently learning some contest fiddle stuff for fun. Then I'm dying to learn how to "chop". I have a classical/fiddle background and have been playing for 24 years - pretty much all my life. I jam with friends for fun and also go to local festivals.
