After my 1st year of college, life aimed me in a direction other than a music degree. I have continued to play just enough to keep from forgetting everything I once learned. Now, my 5 kids are older and I have begun finding more time to be a "returning, aspiring, part-time" violinist. It seems I love to play now more than I did when I was "younger." My motivation is different. I have been able to play at a few church and social occasions. My kids & grandkids LOVE it when I play. Did I mention my motivation was different?
