I have one very sweet old fiddle that I bought from my fiddle teacher Frank in southern California. It is German, about 120 to 130 years old (so I'm told) and bears the name of Ulrich Fichtle. The story behind it was that it was owned by a man that played for Disney. He fell on hard times and came to my friend Frank and asked if there was someone special for his fiddle. Frank thought of me and said that it would be the perfect fiddle for me. I love it!

I've been playing old time and bluegrass guitar for ten years. With that said, I must say that my new passion for old time fiddle is immense. With the help of my eighty two year old mother who plays old time fiddle with such passion and fire, (in photo with brother Al) and the help of this wonderful fiddle site I am having a great time!
