Well, it's not 2012 yet..... and I fell in love with the fiddle after about a week of trying to figure out how to work a bow!!! Anyway, I think I'm still attempting to figure out the instrument. I started playing in about May of 2010. So, I figure if I can learn to play the instrument anyone can. I guess I'm getting by as a fiddle player now. I still crave getting way better.
The point of all this is to let anyone who happens to be interested in hearing me play the fiddle know that I have a tune with a nice fiddle solo on Amazon, iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, etc.....
The song is called "Feels Like Rain." We're operating under the name "Walt Carroll and Clever Blue." This isn't the single we're pushing off the release but its a good example of a guy who, at age 51, decided to learn to play the fiddle. Clearly, if I can do this in a year and half..... YOU CAN TOO. So never get discouraged..... just keep on plugging away!!
