Old Lion Head fiddle, in good condition with typical bumps and bruises, couple top cracks all repaired and holding. An interesting pad for the sound post, I cannot see a crack so I don't know why it is there. I'm told the neck with the scroll may have have been added later. In side handwritten label reads: Prof. Monroe Violin maker No. 378. Let me know if anyone has info on this guy. Loud and mature sounding. Could use professional setup.
I'm not a violin expert or dealer so please look and the pictures and ask questions. I'm open to a reasonable offer regarding price, shipping and trial period. Comes with a cool old case. There ya go, that's all I know.
