I get better ratings for the same recording on Banjo Hangout than Fiddle Hangout. That tells me that banjo players have a better ear and are more musically sophicticated.

I agree with BanjoBrad, you're probably a better banjo player otherwise you would have spelled "sophicticated" right.

Another possibility: neither banjo- or fiddleplayers are sophisticated (or sophicticated if you like) and dont' have ears at all.
(to be frankly: that's my dog's opinion).
