My version:

The title literally means "Walking Dance (or tune) from Applebo," a village in Sweden. I understand this is one of the two most common Swedish fiddle tunes. I first heard it back in my college days in Northern Minnesota (we had old-time music there, too), but was reminded of it by a posting on the Fiddle Hangout by Michael Springer (fiddlepogo) a couple of months ago. I worked this out by downloading his version at:

and slowing it down to play along with. It's my current obsession tune, and it sounds OK on banjo, too.

Read your wife's comments about your playing. Years ago, I would come in from practicing the banjo (I was just starting to play). I would say to my "How did I sound ?". Invariably her reply was "You sound nice dear". Years later I found out that she had learned to completely ignore my playing when I practiced.

Thanks guys.
My wife is still happiest to listen from a room away. Actually, I think I would be, too.
