Just such a silly little thing, ain't it? I heard it from Doc Watson...long, long time ago...one of my guitar buddies from the old days had a record player and we'd often listen to Doc Watson stuff.

NC, thanks. Not sure I'm good at playing the humor part...lol...makes me think of my mom...she was so sarcastic, in the most funny way....lol...people didn't always know how to take her. Well but anyway, I remember laughing at the lines as Doc Watson told them on that old record my friend had...I thought for mine it mighta been better if'd I found some canned laughter to thrown in...lol. Anyway, it's really fun to pick on guitar, but I figured a little banjo and fiddle would just make it more fun. And you are right...music takes the teejus right outta yer day, for sure!
