Can anyone tell me where I might be able to send my Yamaha Silent Violin to be setup and fix a short in the cord it has?

Yamaha has a large dealer and repair network. So you should be able to find an official Yamaha repair center that can help you.

In particular, the Electric Violin Shop (electricviolinshop.com/) could do this. They can definitely help you. But for setup, I think by default they will give you a classical action. If you want a lower nut action and flatter bridge, you would need to let them know.

I'd start with support at Yamaha's site: usa.yamaha.com/support/index.html
There's really no set up to a silent violin, there's no soundpost, the bridge location is fixed.
For electric issues any electric guitar/amp shop could probably fix you up.

Electric instruments do need some setup, certainly the bridge. In this video you'll see quite a modification of the bridge.

I did a similar bridge re-radius myself. I did it myself because I wasn't sure a regular luthier would do it.

Yamaha has two different pickup types. Here is an overview, though it doesn't have pictures of the bridge.

Some (SV-200 and older 100 series) have a dual-piezo body pickup. These have a completely conventional maple bridge and can be set up by a regular luthier. The SV-250 has the same body pickup, but it also has a pickup embedded in the bridge. It's the same bridge as in the video of a YEV-104 violin. Those are not difficult to modify except for the fact of the wire connected to the bridge.
