About 10 days ago I was looking for a member here, and took a look at the new members list. A lot of them looked bogus - they were from places like "New York, NV" and "Singapore, NY." Somebody should keep an eye on that - maybe it would prevent some problems.

Maybe needlessly... but I'm concerned about clicking on the link that takes me to the tune I have posted so I can report and delete the spam. Does that contribute to the problem? But if I don't use the link, I will waste a lot of time trying to find it in my Media files.

There's still someone from "Lon Don, LA" who has definitely posted spam, and someone from "New York, NV." "RodyGofman" is also a spammer, as is "SummerLazar."

I have been reporting 1-3 posts/week on the music site as spam (or worse) over the last few weeks. Seems like it is always new members who do this. Thankfully they get removed very quickly - thank you moderators!
Why not require that new members posts need to be reviewed by a moderator before posting on the site? After 5 legit posts, that restriction comes off or something like that. Or maybe the “super posters” on this site get authorization that if they report it as spam it gets removed without even the moderator having to get involved.

After a week of reporting blog spam to the moderators and nothing got removed, I contacted Eric and it was gone the next day.
