I just posted my first tunes -- four Old-Time tunes. Three I learned during the 2007 Augusta Old Time Fiddle Camp, the fourth I learned from a CD:
Hickle Roy Jack--A modal, standard tuning. I great mournful tune that has some unusual timing and has an AA-B-CC pattern
Cole Hollow--in GDGD tuning. A fairly straightforward tune, but I play it about 1/2 speed.
Greasy Coat, a good GDGD old-time tune
WIld Rose of the Mountain--standard tuning. I learned this from the JP Fraley CD of the same name using Amazing Slow Downer. Don't quite have it up to speed yet.
I recorded them on my hand-held Olympus 3100PC Hand held voice recorder, so the sound is not the best--any advice out there?
