We were discussing the bowing for this in playing advice, so, just out of curiosity, I dusted off an old recording of me in a live performance with "Stoney Creek" in 1985. I haven't played Orange Bloss'm Special in 20 years or so....so it sort of amazes me to hear it. I didn't know that I was ever so energetic.

Thanks Loy. I couldn't play that stuff nowadays to save my life. That was back when I was performing constantly with a bluegrass band. I have abandoned all of that show stuff for my real love...simple old-time fiddling with clawhammer banjo.....

Heck at least you can say I once played that well :) I have all your tunes downloaded on my ipod, listen to them almost daily with a few others from this site. You may not "saw" as fast as you used to but your way good to me! Thanks- Loy
