Don't know how commonly this one is played...it was one of the first things I played on the fiddle...this and East Va. Blues...lol...anyway, got a little time again today for playin' (yay!) and rushed through this one...I'd liked to have spent a little more time with it trying to get it right, but just playin' in 'nuff for me at the moment. Thanks, Scotty. You probably know that one...I guess it's from Ireland, but we Americans do sometimes steal Irish tunes and mess 'em up...lol.

I agree completely. I think sometimes people feel pressured to try to play something as the locals from where the tunes came, but it is interesting to see how different places play the same tunes. Artistic freedom.
