(and that wasn't shouting...lol) As for Bald Headed End of the Broom...I first heard it as a fiddle tune...belive it or not...I always thought it was...then I find out it's more of a banjo tune, really. Kinda just silly stuff.

Thank you very much....Originally I wanted to call the topic '' STRANGE fiddle tunes..." Well, turns out that there are a lot of them..!! I'd still vote for Scott's Return as one of the strangest!!

I don’t know. Quirky seemed to cause enough of an uproar - STRANGE may have taken us right over the top...
Also, while I’ll grant you Scott’s Return is a quite good tune, I somehow don’t find it quirky (to stay on topic) or even strange.
