Apparently this really cool tune was pretty hot at the Portland OT Gathering this year.
It's been attributed to Ira Bernstein - does anyone know for sure?

Thanks for this great little tune! I'm really enjoying learning it.

I was playing chips and sauce in a jam and someone poked their head in the room and said "my friend ira bernstein wrote that tune. I haven't heard anyone play it for 20 years!" and then left. I learned it off of a tape that the rabbit foot stringband gals were selling at folklife. I don't know anything more about the tune and haven't heard any other recordings. I would love to know more about it if anyone finds something.
