If there's enough interest, maybe Walter will teach some follow-on workshops. I don't know much about French Canadian music but what I've heard, I really like.

And yes. It'll be nice to have Matt around. I took a workshop from him a while back and I liked the way he taught.

I think the original plans were to turn it into a day; workshop, pot luck meal, then dance. Maybe they need to prove such activities are desirable before freeing up the space for it? Its hard to speculate.

I do know the school is a bit busting at the seams until they open up the new facility across the street. Instead of having to limit themselves to 7,000 students a week, they'll be able to take in 11,000. 

They told me they intend to start planning activities over there in January, but I also heard a rumor that the grand opening isn't planned until March.

Speaking of rumors, heard any rumors about Trad Fest? Like if its happening and if so, who's coming?
