I'm sorry that I couldn't make any birthday posts in June. Some of my favorite fiddlers like Albert Hash and John Ashby are born in June, though.

OK, today is the birthday of Lee Triplett from Clay County, WV. I can't find what year he was born.
Lee was once said 'played pretty little everything'. I'm pretty sure that some of you are familiar with a tune called "Pretty Little Dog" even never heard the name of Lee.

It looks like Lee was born in 1897. I see that birth date on his World War I Draft Registration Card and also on the Social Security Death Index entry for him.
