This isn't a place to simply post items you want to buy, sell or trade...rather, you should post a classified ad fiddlehangout.com/classifieds/ explaining in detail what you're looking to buy, sell or trade, then create a topic that relates to this ad, so people can discuss your request here on the forum. Copy the URL of the topic and paste it into your classified ads' "Discussion URL" field, and you're all set!
This is also a good idea because it gives you maximum exposure, as your post is in both the classifieds and the forum.

There have been some recent problems with people announcing items for sale/trade/wanted in the Swap Shop forum without placing the required Classified ads. I am bringing this post back to the top because the rules seem to be unreachable at the present time.
This is just for information.

I tried the usual classified section for this website and it did not have an option for buying a 7/8 size violin. There is no search box so I cant state my needs for a 7/8 size violin.

Just put that in the title of your ad--something like "Looking for a 7/8 Violin" as your title...
