Its finally here! I posted this short video awhile back and it ddidn't get the attention I thought it deserved. What's not to like - a pretty girl singing her own catchy song, dancing up a storm, plus a short documentary segment on how elections are run in Texas (maybe).
Don't forget - vote early and often!

Pack your bags!!! Dust hasn't settled yet, and I've already heard 3 people asked if they were running in '28. Of course the response was a typical campaign speech given about how they will wait and see and announce if and when a decision is made.

I'm betting this one - for several reasons - will be highlighted for the 2 years running - right up to the day.

...oh, what fun

I was very upset when I voted. In my county, there was one single candidate for each of the 3 judgeships and the Town Clerk, all from the same party. If that happens in '28, I am running! Just what they need an old, wise ass fiddler with more skeletons in the closet than Party City the day after Halloween!

That's how it was here...so many local offices the only names on the ballot...all of one party. I didn't even vote on those...what's the use? I just did the ones where there were two different ones. I voted early to beat the crowds, but it turns out this year everybody else did the same, so those of us who voted early were in the crowd, and the ones who voted on election day just went in and got right back out...lol. I stood in a crowded line for a while and also in a crowded parking lot trying to find a place where I could squeeze in and park the car.

The lady singing on the video forgot to mention (or else I missed it) the moonshiners and bootleggers handing out samples to those who promised to vote to keep the county dry...good for their business.

Nope.

Farmer if you were expecting those the morning of Nov 4, sorry. The truly hard work is just beginning. A path through the forest became visible, now it needs to kept clear and followed.

We had BLUE skies on a rainy day, but the sun is just starting to peek o'er the hillside. There's my groundhog poetry for today. Let's hope the ones in charge can keep it straight and narrow, keep the blinders on, focus on their duties, and bring us out of tyranny, and back to democracy.

You know sarcasm doesn't come across well in print. Tell you what. I'm so glad the billions in ads have stopped, I could watch seedcorn and herbicide ads for the next six months. And I probably will. The real reason why we die younger, is the Monsanto & Bayer ads we have to endure.
