Pete, I first listened to your version, that is great playing to me. It makes me wonder what could help to reach this : steady rhytms , very fast but still very melodious. Very nice tune version!
Then I had a look at the video , I think he plays slightly ( just a tiny bit) slower ....but what I don't understand is how his bow for the most part of the tune hardly seems to move?
Does your bow also seem to tend to stick pretty much to the same point?
