Imagine if you start a thread. Post a question. And in 24hrs you have 19 pages to go through. I thought Banjo Hangout was busy. Talkbass people are dedicated to their instrument and that's a good thing. The population probably comes from every genre of music typically employs a bass. Like one of tried and true members here noted, if you play a bass you can be as busy/in demand as you wish to be.
BTW it's nice the resource is there, but 19 pages of any subject seems daunting. I'd rather be playing and probably will be instead.
