I just got an advertising email from The Pagaino shop promoting a tailpiece that has a high tech computerized compensation for intonation. It is supposed to have a 48 hour battery life. I bet that it would run flat in half an hour trying to compensate for my poor intonation. The company that makes this thing is called Cremona Lab.
Fiddlershop also did an April Fools gag about a self-tuning violin.
Ah yes, that sounds like the clip-on AutoTuner! Just clip it on to tune the notes coming out of your instrument.
I like April fools day. It's the only day i know to try not to be a fool.
I had an idea for an April Fools gag but didn’t have time to write it out this year. Perhaps next year.
