Interesting that he opened his video with Walt Koken and Bob Potts playing the tune, not Luther Strong, and then goes on to talk about the special tuning with the bass string down to E. I don't know the source of the recording he used, but in my experience they always played "Glory in the Meetinghouse" in standard, like everything else except (rarely) "Black Mountain Rag." Here's a live recording from my music page here of Walt and Bob playing the tune. I know they're in standard because I was there and I also have the recording of the whole show.
I'm also skeptical about the connection with Jerusalem Ridge.
