Electric violins are a specialty, and used ones even more so. Your best bet may be to get in touch with a shop that deals with electric violins—not just sales, but repairs as well. They may have some good advice and may know of used violins that aren’t listed already on sites like eBay or Reverb. There isn’t much of a resale market for dedicated electric violins because the changes in technology make it more practical and cost-effective to buy new with a manufacturer warranty.
Zeta was a big name in the 70s and it’s still remembered for that era. I think the company went out of business for a while and was restarted. I don’t know of any jazz forums that are dedicated to the violin, but you might have some luck if you can find some electric violin players and you ask them for advice. One of my jazz violinist customers has a Zeta, but it’s a four string and I don’t think he has any plans to sell it.
