Welcome to Garry Harrison Tunes University. We will be turning in our textbooks to the back of the book for what I regard as one of his most challenging tunes. It's pretty crooked. First you have to get into the correct tuning. Two ways to do that. (Actually three): 1. Use a tuner. 2. Pretend you are a Cajun fiddler and are playing a "tuned down" fiddle (FCGD); then merely tune the G string up a step (G). 3. To get to GCGD, lower the A string a step to G and lower the E string to D. This is a D tuning.
