I think because of the period in which he wrote his music it was overlooked, with all the compositions coming from Europe. I also like the low part, as well.
I was originally going to do this on my Electric with the reverb and all that, and then, it gave up the ghost the other day, so decided to do it on normal fiddle,I did get the leccy one repaired though, and might do it on that instead, as it makes my playing just about listenable, lol
i go to sleep with my radio playing. Happened to have radio 3 playing. i woke up on a fantastic misty Autumn morning in the woods with this playing in my ear. Don't know what it has to do with this tune or topic, but it put me in mind of it when i listen to some of the harp versions of this tune.
