Hey Folks,

Because so many folks requested it, I've added this forum. You can get a feel for what kinds of posts/discussion will happen here by visiting the Banjo Hangout's Sound Off forum here: banjohangout.org/forum/forum.a...RUM_ID=10

Basically, this is a place to post links to your recordings, so others can discuss them. Lots of potential for good advice, encouragement, and other help.

Why no subscribe option on this forum?

Eric, you are largely responsible for me deciding to learn to play. Opening the Fiddle Hangout gave me the push I needed. Thanks!

Hi Eric,

Thank you soooo much for all the work you have done in creating the Bho and the Fho. This is simply the best site for me as I can show me my music to the whole world and get useful advice from other members.

Holy Cow! I just stepped over to the 'other side' for the first time. But I came back and I'm still in one piece!
Seriously, I'd love to join BHO but I'm in way too deep here, with little enough time to practice fiddle. Thanks to Eric for a great idea & a great site!!!

Hi folks-- Darol Anger here.
I finally made it onto the Fiddlers' Hangout. Pretty excited to be here.

I thought I'd post some stuff on my page for people to enjoy or react to,
Positive or negative, it's all generating energy that we can harness to get ourselves fiddling.

As some may know, the incredible film arranger Ennio Morricone passed as of late. A companion recorded a piano form of the exemplary subject from The Good The awful, and The Ugly. I attempted to react by adjusting a couple of Morricone's spaghetti cipd assignment writing service in london western subjects, however I just couldn't pull it off. I chose forming this Morricone-esque piece. It's known as the Ballad of Arch Stanton.

Morgan - to bring attention to your posts on this forum, they should be made as separate posts under an appropriate title, such as "A Tribute to Ennio Morricone."

@Black - You should be able to find a list of your posted videos (if you posted them to FHO) on your profile page (click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen with the cog beside it). If you posted them elsewhere and linked to them, you may find the links there, but I'm not sure on that.

Once you get to your profile page, click the "Media" link there.

Also, if your profile were public, I would see a list below your pic that  says
Activity
Media
Blog

etc. It is likely You could see that on your own page. Videos are in the media tab

Well, I'm a little puzzled. Black's profile is set to "Public" and I see an "About" tab, but no "Media" tab, as I do with Billy and Brad. You must have just posted your vdeos to YouTube and included a link in a post here, but never "uploaded" them to the FHO. If that's the case you'll have to find them through your YouTube account, although you can see all your non-archived posts here, and maybe find them that way.
PS - You really should have started a new thread for this question, although this thread is aready a hopeless mess.
