Dear Sound Off!ers,
Since you are interested in posting a sample of your fiddling here, that means you've found at least one tune that tickles your fancy enough to share it with everyone. Maybe you'd like to go just a bit farther in your efforts and submit the tune as a Fiddle Hangout Tune of the Week. Of course, you don't have to post your own recording to do a Tune of the Week. Check out the complete TOTW instructions and guidelines here.

Good for you, Black. I'll work on getting up courage to post a video (as soon as I figure out how to do it and think I have something worthwhile to post).
And Paul ---- I sure miss being able to play with you and John at CROMA (and listen to you guys play) .

Yeah, that's the idea, CM. However, since Wormbower doesn't seem to be hanging around very much, if any, more, there would need to be somebody to take over curating the tunes.

Hey Black nicely done.
I'm in the UK as well (Midlands) been playing about 30 odd years now self taught as well. Reckon you're doing well for a couple of years playing! Hope you don't mind me offering a tip???.....Your thumb joint on your bow hand needs to be slightly bent outwards rather than inwards. If it is bent inwards it locks any finger movement in your right hand, and makes you bow from the elbow and shoulder. you just need to get the wrist and fingers moving as well. I only say this because i did exactly the same for a couple of years or more and still have to keep an eye on it. Good luck, and well done for posting.
Cheers Pete

Does this mean that you're going to handle the weekly schedule the way Janet handles it on BHO? Should volunteers contact you?
Carl - Paul's original post was almost 10 years ago and he hasn't been around much (if at all) for the past several years, so I doubt he will be able to handle that task.
It requires a LOT of work to upkeep, I was surprised J-Walk handled the BHO one for as long as he did, and I admire Janet for her hard work (but, then, what do you expect from a retired teacher?).
