More About Me

Dr. Rogers teaches olde tyme banjo and fiddle in the Austin, TX area. Banjo instruction is in the tradition of Sand Mountain, as taught to Dr. Rogers by Jim Connor, former banjo player for John Denver and the New Kingston Trio. Fiddle instruction is in the tradition learned from local fiddlers in North Alabama.

Students accepted from ages 12 to 120. Younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
