More About Me

I taught old time mandolin and clawhammer banjo at Centre College before retiring in 2013. I also taught fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitar in my home in Kentucky. I now live in Summerville, SC and I am continuing my one on one classes. I like teaching those that are first time players, beginning with the basics and building on those skills. No music reading skills are necessary you will be learning to play by ear.
