Each Hangout site has an email list containing subscribers who have signed up to receive news and updates regarding that particular site. Messages are sent to each list weekly for the Banjo Hangout, and monthly for the other Hangouts. We sell at most three ad spots in each email--a top ad, middle ad, and a full-width banner ad.
Top spots can have up to 90 words of text and 2 graphics, middle spots can have up to 60 words of text and 1 graphic. These ads are carefully crafted to have a "news release" feel. Links to your website are sprinkled throughout the news release, of course, making it easy for people to visit your site.
