Billy Mathews Fiddle Christine Banjo. I first heard this tune from a clip posted from a dance in Southern Illinois, now I can't find that clip. I loved the title and the tune. Recently I was in Springfield, MO for a Heritage Day Festival and Fiddlin' Banjo Billy Mathews and I sat down and played some tunes. Being a festival there is some background noise from vehicles and such. I really enjoy this tune and hope you do to.

Thanks for this! I had requested this tune awhile back, got one version from a helpful member, but this is somewhat closer to what I remembered playing at a jam.

Wow! I've heard of this tune and have been looking for it kind of casually for a few years. I just thought to do a search on FHO, and Christine and Billy popped up. Go figure! I reckon my mustache went gray while i've been looking, so maybe its appropriate?
