Eight weeks in on the fiddle. Turned out bit too fast and the timing stinks at times.

Well - that's an almost unbelievably good rendition from someone who's only been playing eight weeks.
I'm guessing you've already put in a lot of time on some other instrument like Mandolin?
Good banjo playing too by the way.

No, just banjo for about four years. Before that a lot of unstructured guitar noodling and a host of non-string instruments I'm too embarrassed to tell.
