The recording is a little bit rough in places, the computer was not behaving, and a few off notes but overall I was fairly satisfied especially with the use of the pinky finger in playing.

Just seeing you are playing barely one year. Great playing and pretty good intonation and good tone. Can't wait to follow your progress!!
Great job!

Thanks Hardy,
My intonation I have a feeling will always be a work in progress. About a month ago now I decided it was time to take the tapes off the fingerboard. Overall the transition has not been too bad, but I have noticed sometimes I tend to be flat. Just need to work those fingers more and get the muscle memory to sink a little bit deeper in. Thanks for your comments :)

Thanks mud, it was a scary thought to take the tape off, but I had gotten to the point that for a couple of months I was not even really paying attention to the tapes at all. I did keep the pinky tape on only because I have not been working on it for too long, but I have a feeling that will be going very soon now :)

Very nice Barb. Your tempo is on, intonation right on, your bowing sounds like you have a feel for the tune and made it your own. Your pinky you will find will become an integral pat of your fingering, especially if note changes are a 2 string jump, this way your pinky can pick up the note on a single string jump.
Great job.
