Since this was found in a hymnal from 1844, it should be public domain. If someone disagrees, please let me know and help me find a place on the net to find information about the copyrights or asking about permission. I got the lyrics from Tom, Brad & Alice, and Dirk Powell sings the same. The recording is my own. I try to play guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and sing.
