Warning! No Fiddle Content!! This is a little love song I wrote and recorded with my band Tres Gringos in Austin, Tx 2008. I am doing lead and harmony vocals, and playing drums, harmonica, and rhythm guitars, a 5-string open G tuned strat on verses and a Les Paul on chorus'. Where has this been hiding? Where have i been?
I tune my fine (guitar) string down to D for an open G alot. Hey if it's good enough for Keif Richards it's good enough for us.

Thanks, Wooliver. Like Keith, who learned the open G tuning ( plus the high strung Nashville tuning) from Gram Parsons, I found the low string redundant. Like Keith says, all you need is 5 strings, 3 chords, 2 fingers, and 1 #$%^&. (derogatory term for the person playing).

man your song blow me away wish i had sung with you i can sing that still works very slow on the fiddle when i use to play guittar or bass i allways had work singing if not my band some one else band you rock
