WOw Bosco , you sure put some nice tunes up! ... Id like to hear them slowed down alittle bit though , my old ears can't quite catch the phrases cleanly ...but I know that's great stuff there , thanks !

Listening it now and I agree with you. It could be little slower and mellow.

Wilson Douglas used to tell us to " give every tune its due "
Which reflected the fact that he didn't like it when someone walked up and started to push the beat on him ....not only do you lose the ability to get all the good notes in but you lose the seperation between musical phrases ....
In WV fiddling certain notes should be held out longer, some notes should be slid into and Wilson would say to take the time to reach back for the drone strings.......sometimes almost a bluesy effect is used , but its not blues , its just the sound that makes WV fiddle alittle different from other regions.
You sure got some great stuff in your fiddling Bosco , really good WV tunes for sure .... I hope to be able to hear them all ...thanks for posting them ...
WV fiddling is much better then "festival style " fiddling :-)
