Very nice song!
This larval fiddler at the 2 month mark hopes he can pull tone like that pretty soon.

What a beautiful tribute to the "Last Prince of Ireland". Have you ever been to Dunboy Castle? You have done this lovely Irish tune justice...nice vocals with guitar and good fiddle! Thanks for sharing!

Thankyou Terry, I have not had the priviledge of visiting Ireland, but I do quite a bit of reading, and the exodis, leading his people through the mountains, in the winter, the length of the country, beset by enemies and starvation, and never giving up, is a storey that touched my heart recently. Long live the memory of a great man and warrior.

Thankyou Peerke. I appreciate the kind words.
Thankyou Doyle, as always, you're a great cheerleader and always make people feel good about their larval fiddling.
Sometimes a kind word really does help.

Nice. You singing and guitaring? Yep. Penny whistle? Great. Here's why. It's so nice to hear each instrument and voice and not some pre-programmed computer directing every note to perfection. (I jammed with a guy who hit a pedal and instant harmonies a few months back--yuck). Please keep writing and postiny your stuff, mudbug....

Very nicely done, gives me hope to get good tone like that sometime in the future. Been playing for 5 days now, cats have stopped leaving the room either I'm improving or they have just gotten use to the sound.

Thankyou Barb. I think it takes a certain amount of stubborness to get by that first initial phase that we all go through. Day by day, keeping at it, even when frustrated and dissattisfied, which I still am after almost 6 months. There's always so much to learn. Keep at it!

Thanks, Nancymae, I've now been playing for 20 months ( boy, how it's flown) and I'll probably do something at 2 year mark, but I'm finding that as I progress and sound better, my expectations rise and I realise how much more I have to learn. But, I do want to chronocle my journey on fiddle, whether I'm totally satisfied with it or not, so thankyou for the vote of confidence.
