I was made up by Claude Dubre, form Oklahoma. I got it from the fine fiddling of Norman Solomon on a vist to his house many years back. It is a pretty tune ain't it?

I grew up around the Dubre family. The first man I ever heard play a breakdown was Mac Dubre at a pie supper . I immediately went and asked my dad if I could get a fiddle. I later was privelaged to meet Norman and Vernon when they came to play at my High School in Oklahoma as a guest of the Dubre family. Norman and Vernon were both great fiddlers and inspired me on to advancing in my own fiddling.
