This version of Liza Jane I synthesized from the playing of Emma Lee Dickerson and Luther Strong. I also play this melody with a different feel in the key of A, cross tuned. Coon Dog is a great east Kentucky tune that I've put together from a bunch of players like Buddy Thomas, Alfred Bailey, and Roger Cooper

Great job....your fiddling is first rate! Who is your banjo player? The backup is very, very tasteful...just right. He's playing a fretless, right? l really like the sound of all of you together.

Thanks for the kind words.
The banjo player is Tyler Dean Rudolph. He is a great bluegrass banjo player too. For clawhammer, he plays a fretted Goatskin "Doc's" banjo.
The guitar player is Dara Weiss, who has a great voice and sings in a local bluegrass band called Yonder Hill.

Wow. That was extremely impressive. The fiddling/banjo combo is very nice. Great taste in tunes as well.

That is some downright expeditiously tasteful playing !! Excellent fiddlin...sweet banjo...and solid guitarwork. Great listening !!!
