I Learned this American tune { OT.. or Bluegrass??} from an old tape a friend had- Tunes called - '' Put Your Shoes On'' - and they sung those words twice at the end of the tune,,, jim,,,,

I love hearing fiddlers from far away playing our tunes. On the other end of the pond, I have been playing a bunch of old Scottish and Irish tunes in the American Old Time style, ones that never got established here. I do also play the usual ones that are already established in Old Time like Soldiers Joy , Too young to Marry, Flowers of Edinburgh and Temperance Reel

Yes in Ireland years ago - they said - a different Take on a tune was someone from another County,,,
Now its another Country -- '' The world is , deffo getting smaller '' - lol...
