I think the only note that I heard being flat was your D3 = G note. Try playing it with your open G string to tune it up. Also you are playing the first two measures of the tune twice as fast as the next two measures, so slow down the first two and they will match up. A metronome will help with your rhythm and you can use one free online. Otherwise I think you are coming along real good for the time you have spent playing. You are getting a good tone with your bow and playing in-tune most of the time. Way to go!

I seem to go flat on the G alot, not just with this song. If I go through my scales I'm dead on, but once I get to playing a song I usually go off. I do seem to pick up the speed too much quite often. It's a bad habbit I picked up and I'm working on fixing that. Most the time I don't even relize I'm doing it. I do have a metronome. I'll start using it more often. Thanks for the tips!!

What i would usually tell one of my students about the "G" being flat is to play it higher, overshoot it from where you think it should be and then it will be right. before long you are hitting it dead-on.
